The selection matrix serves as a guide to the Hiring or Line Manager to have an idea on the quality of applications received and saves them time from going through CVs of all those applied. If there is a need to further assess candidates shortlisted, I will then recommend to the Hiring or Line Manager to have them go through a ‘Written Test’. This exercise helps to further assess candidates’ skills and knowledge as well as to have an idea on the strength of their capabilities.Once all the necessary onboarding HR administrative processes have been completed (which includes arranging for working resources or equipments such as laptop and setting of email and personnel credentials in to the HR system), then I will arrange for briefing sessions for the newcomer (with other dept or personnel) and I am required to conduct the HR briefing.There will be also standard reporting and ad-hoc reports to be prepared or compiled for Key Management’s review.
