  I am acting as the key person in the organization to manage and coordinate the project work among the stakeholders during the project approval stage. I prepared Environmental Social Management Systems for all foreign projects. Meantime I have reviewed and modified the EIAs prepared for foreign projects by foreign consultants (Uganda, Guyana, Zambia, Malawi, Burundi, etc. I was the responsible person for all environmental and social concerns of all company projects. Meantime I Lead the team to carry out annual Environment and Social audits in operational projects I have successfully coordinated with the Environment Ministries of Sri Lanka and Japan to implement the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in Sri Lanka,, finally the two countries have signed the agreement last year (the year 2022). Further, I lead the company to become a Carbon Neutralized Company and calculate the Carbon Footprint.With all the above-mentioned duties I lead the team to achieve Presidental Environment Awards for many consecutive years. Show less I obtained all the relevant approvals to implement a Renewable energy generation project in Sri Lanka. Once the projects obtained all the approvals I prepared IEERs (Initial Environmental Examination Report)/ EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) for that Renewable energy generation project in Sri Lanka.. Meantime I was actively involved to get SLSi Certification for Gliricidia Plantations belonging to the Dendro Power Plantation of the company.I was a member of the team carrying out annual Environment and Social audits on operational projects. As an environmentalist, I arranged many Tree planting programs in Sri Lankan Projects and foreign projects of the company. With all the above tasks I lead the company to win the "Presidential Environmental Award" many years. Show less
