      Responsible for supporting the Marketing and Brand functions of the University by planning and implementing activity in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure activity was aligned with the University’s strategic direction. This multi-faceted role provided marketing insight throughout the establishment of the new brand team and the development of new visual identity including logos, colours, brand guidelines and processes for brand approval. A key project included scoping the costs and impact of a full re-brand which was undertaken in response to market research. Show less Key projects managed in this role included delivering the End-of-Year campaign to drive semester one enrolments across a range of channels targeting specific demographics in the South Campus catchment area. The campaign period was the peak sales opportunity with a short window available for conversions.Another key project was to develop the awareness campaign driving attendance at the South Campus ‘Open Home’ community event, including branding, media recommendations, radio partnership, community and school promotion. Show less This role provided a customer focused marketing perspective on projects, with the aim of increasing growth and revenue. A significant project I was involved in was to manage the marketing and communications of the annual sales event – AUT’s Information Evening. Over a 3 month $40,000 budget project, I led the marketing and planning functions for a new format event aimed at lead-generation and conversion post-event. Innovations included introducing technology and a digital campaign to create a digital customer experience, from creating awareness online, incentivising registrations, sending e-tickets on mobiles for scanning on the night, to using data capture for conversion campaigns post-event. Over 1,750 potential students and influencers attended the city event and the digital component set the benchmark for customer engagement. Show less Responsible for the development and implementation of successful marketing strategies and initiatives to meet the objectives of the AUT Business School, the AUT Law School and University Relations marketing and communications strategy. This included creation of above and below-the-line campaigns targeting multiple audiences and creation of marketing and sales material for over 500 staff. Additional responsibilities included brand management and sub-brand development for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and Faculty research centres. The role included representation on Faculty Management Team, budget responsibility for $180,000 p/a and management of one direct report.Key achievements include:• Fastest growing Business School in New Zealand (measured in enrolments 2007 - 2011). • Preference ratings increased: enrolment numbers overtook two competitors (Victoria and Massey). • Successfully launched the AUT Law School meeting enrolment targets. Development of the brand and launch campaign, awareness, consideration and conversion campaigns. Production of sales collateral, case studies, videos, industry newsletters, development and management of website.• Launching the Master of Professional Accounting and exceeding enrolment targets. The campaign was launched in English, Mandarin and Vietnamese across online, social media, print, sales collateral, partner platforms (CPA, NZICA). Show less
