      I participated in voluntary work for Welcome Pickups from March 20th to May 3rd, 2023, every Monday and Wednesday for 4 hours a day. This voluntary work consisted of researching more popular tourist locations for our company to expand into and also how to better our services such as tours of the most popular attractions in various cities. I also put a lot of effort into expansion in Vienna, Austria as she lived there for 11 years and offered to help make Welcome Pickups more appealing to people visiting Austria. Show less

      A group of 4 students and myself partnered together with Action Aid UK, a charity which works internationally with women and girls living in poverty. We were given the task to choose an organisation to partner for our entrepreneurship practice module. My group choice Action Aid as we wanted to raise awareness about period poverty and raise money to help combat period poverty in the UK. My group hosted a movie and trivia night at our university campus on March 22, 2024 where we were able to raise £ 140 which was collected through cash donations and a Crowdfunder page directly connected to Action Aid.
