  I set up, organised and developed the Department and participated on a part-time basis to the DG Competition's enquiry on the gas sector in Continental Europe (2006-2007).I elaborated the guidelines for good practices for storage operators with the Italian regulator and the guidelines on Open Seasons with the Austrian regulator.

  I was responsible for assurance on regulatory issues for projects with a value over £100m. I evaluated GGCL and MGL (gas distribution companies in India), Comgas (Gas Distribution Company in Brazil); monitored gas issues in India, Brazil, Tanzania and Kenya; drafted a report on gas liberalisation for the Chinese administration; ensured European regulation (EMIR, REMIT) was understood and implemented; represented BG’s views regarding the European gas network codes in industry. I secured an exemption from third party access to a gas pipeline in Australia earning the team a CEO award; ensured regulatory compliance of Dragon’s regasification terminal (UK); delivered stakeholders’ engagement and risk mitigation plans for access to transport facilities in Italy for the Brindisi regasification terminal.
