  Four Star Combo is the brainchild of vocalist & bandleader, Ron Scott, who had a long career in the Boston, MA music scene before migrating southward in 2007. Since 2008, the Combo has played extensively in the Washington DC area at clubs, festivals, and has recently begun to gather a real head of steam. In May 2014, Man-O-Man Records released the band’s first full-length album on CD, titled “Wait A Minute, Baby!”. Critic Frank-Jon Hadley of Downbeat says, "Whether on gigs or on the new album, Four Star Combo delivers lean and hungry modern rockabilly that hits the jackpot as first-rate entertainment.
