      Through a combination of software development (R and Python) and bioinformatic analysis of proteomics, metagenomics, and metabolomics, Dr. McHardy investigated inter-omic microbial biology and ecology of human anatomic sites. Studies revealed microbiological, clinical, and ecological aspects of healthy subjects, IBD patients, and HIV patients.
