  Drill bits technology advisor to the region of Europe, Eurasia, Sub-Saharan Africa. Involved in deployment of technology, business acquisition and development of personnel. Leading a team of 6 engineers and responsible for evaluating and deploying new technology, both hardware and software, training and development of personnel. Proactively taking lead in service quality improvement initiatives and R&D efforts. Custom design of drill bits for specific offshore applications using Siemens NX software. This role required comprehension of mechanical design theory and materials science, as well as awareness of new technology, cost and inventory management. I monitored product performance and kept close communication with the manufacturing plant for quality assurance. Our drill bit designs have set multiple records and documentet value creation in several offshore fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Acted as technical advisor to several integrated operations project teams. My assignments included selection of appropriate drill bits, reamers, hole openers and associated features, analyses of drilling performance through offset review, log interpretation and formation evaluation. I also coordinated the logistics of mentioned equipment and personnel, and occasionally performed the offshore field work myself.
