My primary responsibility in my role is to lead the implementation of our new image based exception management application through the SAFe Agile project management framework as a Product Owner. - The purpose of the new application is to migrate all research and the corresponding customer and bank adjustments and notifications to one standard process for the company.- Includes balancing risk, productivity and quality while ensuring all development is completed and implemented before the project end date. - My responsibilities also include designing the new people processes and migrating the teams to the new platform by while implementing a more efficient, semi to full autonomous systemic solution for many of the current tedious tasks.Lead and implemented an effort to automate the processing of the largest growing population of adjustment exceptions in the banking industry. Savings post implementation were in excess of $1.5 million per year in hard and soft dollar saves. It also positioned the company to handle the expected increases in volumes without having to increase staffing in the future providing a year over year return to shareholders. Show less Supported 2 operations areas (Research & Adjustments & Teller Cash Exceptions) and my primary responsibility was to ensuring business sustainability by designing processes which are simple to execute and produce efficient and high quality outputs. I lead several triage efforts to manage our mitigation plans and responses through unexpected process disruptions. I leveraged my prior Six Sigma education to lead both DAIC (aka DMAIC) and AGILE style projects in the implementation of new, or to enhance existing, processes. Show less Responsible for the continuous analysis and monitoring of key business metrics and controls for 4 operations sites globally using the Six Sigma Business Process Management (BPM) concepts and strategies. The goals were to maintain production and inventory levels with an incoming volume of 60K exceptions per month while responding to unexpected events and coordinating workflow management between a global team of 300-400 employees and managers. Strong controls, utilization of proper governance routines, corrective action tracking and improvement routines were key to successful management of all sites within acceptable tolerance levels set by executive leadership.I lead various initiatives such as the consolidation of key business documents to one globally accessible location for executive teams, which lead to multiple consecutive successful audits over a 2 year period. I lead the deployment of research process enhancements resulting in a $1MM year over year savings in labor costs and facilitating the clearing of high risk exceptions more timely.I developed various internet sites and databases to accomplish things from simple issue tracking to complex request management tools requiring automation both within the process and the reporting. Many of the tools developed were able to save over $100K to the company related to reduced technology enhancement costs. I was able to design processes and interact with various leaders at various levels and honed the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of employee or leadership. I was responsible for developing, reviewing and refining both client facing and internal presentations for various requests/routines which involved management of large sets of confidential data requiring the utmost caution.
