Organizing and leading structure and content of weekly study sessions to prepare for the next annual APA Mind Games competition. Serving as a Chief Resident for the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year. Facilitating effective communication between residents and faculty, providing support to other residents, supporting functioning of the residency program, and coordinating various academic activities for medical students and residents. Leading GME MedPride, an organization that serves GSM residents and fellows at UAB. Hosting educational events, promoting quality care for GSM patients, and sponsoring wellness events for residents and fellows. Training in UAB Psychiatry Residency’s STEPP program / research track. Co-authored an Action Paper regarding gambling in AAPI populations at the November 2023 Assembly Meeting which was passed by the Assembly; co-authored an Action Paper regarding SO/GI data collection at inpatient psychiatric facilities at the May 2024 Assembly Meeting which was passed by the Assembly.
