  As a key member of the Blue Marine Foundation’s small team, I worked closely with the Managing Director, Chairman and the charity corporate partners to ensure smooth internal and external communications, and work flow between our project partners, stakeholders and funders. Duties included:- Facilitate stakeholder meetings with local NGOs, fisheries officials and government bodies. - Manage all operational and financial support for the charity. - Responsible for the growth and maintenance of all charitable social networking and communications -Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. As well as the weekly update of the charity website- Support and recruit all volunteers - Manage, track and process all charitable grants ensuring all foundations receive their bi-annual and annual reports. - Manage the Lyme Bay education project by coordinating and creating a series of stimulating school visits to enable local children to understand and connect with a whole range of marine issues; focusing on wildlife ecology, marine life, fishing practices, environmental and fisheries management. - Coordinating and facilitating an exchange programme between fishermen in Lyme Bay and Morro Bay, California in order to share knowledge in fisheries management.
