      1.Ensure the station is in compliance with FCC rules and regulations and CSM and UNF policies for the student media, or when non-compliance is detected, to take prompt and appropriate action to ensure compliance as soon as possible. 2.Aspire to excellence in college radio programming that includes: (a) regularly scheduled and formatted schedule blocks, (b) opportunities outside of scheduled blocks for students to produce specialty shows, (c) free form programming during late night shifts that, while still in compliance with FCC rules and regulations, offers students the freedom for experimentation and exploration, and (d) programming that serves the widest possible segments of UNF students, who support the station’s operation through a mandatory student fee. 3.Maintain a warm and welcoming environment for staff and visitors, Establish and maintain regular, posted office hours for all management staff, maintain student management position job descriptions, advertise vacant positions, conduct interviews of all qualified candidates, and then hire and train in programming, writing, production, and promotion. 4.Maintain fair and open management policies including regular, constructive feedback, direction and support. This includes a comprehensive staff manual, informal and formal evaluations that recognize and reward accomplishments, and a fairly administered policy that redirects inappropriate behaviors or, if an offense is severe or repeated, initiates disciplinary actions that include write ups, reprimands, suspensions, or dismissal for serious violations. 5.Create and maintain close and productive working relationships with the adviser, including developing and monitoring an annual budget, and with the CSM board. 6.Create comprehensive communications and promotions programs within the station and with campus constituencies to encourage participation and to increase listeners.
