  From the first of October 2000 till now; Working at Sidi Kerir petrochemical company - SIDPEC. Job description and responsibilities:- From first of October 2000 till 2003: Working as a junior shift DCS operator for Polymerization and olefin (Buten-1) units, responsible for:- Scheduled Start up and Shutdown of the two units.- Monitoring Normal operation conditions and performing corrective actions.- Take actions in case of emergency conditions after consulting with shift supervisor. - Checking field equipment and coordinating corrective and preventive maintenance actions performed for minimum down time.-Performing daily shift field activities.- From 2003 till now: Working as a senior shift DCS Operator, Responsible for:- Making ISO Requirements procedures as (Design change “DC” – corrective action request “CAR” – predictive action request “PAR” – near miss – Risk Assessments – Process Description review – Safety meetings)- Using software to issue mechanical work orders- Computerized Maintenance Mechanical System - CMMS.- Participating in scheduling shutdowns of the Polyethylene plant, according to needs of maintenance.- Using Process Information System – PI, to analyze data of the reactor's Parameters and in communication with plant Laboratory for sample results, and also for history analysis and report preparing.- Instructing and supervising junior operators.- performing usual shift activities.
