  I contributed to various research projects in the area of network security, supporting Alcatel-Lucent's business in the development of a corporate security strategy. In this scope, i also took part in bolstering security defenses of our product lines. I also contributed to POCs, demos, and the launch of an Alcatel-Lucent venture:• Noticeably, I led the design of a VoIP prototype relying on the integration of 9 open source applications that resulted in commercialization plans and several publications in international conferences.• I supported the delivery of a network vulnerability analyser to Defence Research Development Canada (DRDC) and led its integration with a telco network management application.• As part of the commercialization phase of the network vulnerability analysis POC, I coordinated with 3rd party application inventory providers that resulted in fruitful partnership for the addition of network inventory capabilities to the analysis engine.• I prototyped a GSM-based authentication framework for WLAN, using a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) capable smartcard.• I Led the technical aspects of a partnership with IBM that resulted in a POC and demo featured internationally.• I managed a fruitful applied academic collaboration with the delivery of a POC and joint paper published to an international conference.• As part of an an award-winning (ITEA achievement) pan-European project, I led the technical deployment of a prototype that was show-cased at the World Telecommunications Congress (WTC). عرض أقل
