      Oct 2014 - Dec 2017
      Business Class Cabin Crew

Contrary to what most believe, the life of a flight attendant is far from glamourous! I completed an intensive 8-week training program covering safety and security procedures, medical emergencies, and 5-star service to become a licensed crew member. The work itself involved more than just serving food and drinks - my main focus was adhering to safety standards, remaining calm during medical situations onboard, problem solving with limited resources onboard, and exercising tolerance for vastly different cultures that I both worked with and served, all the while maintaining company image and professional conduct at all times. General Manager

I launched a new restaurant where I was responsible for menu concept and building, PR, hiring of all staff, establishing supplier relations, and vetting operational systems. I was the go-to person for anything and everything - the two owners were foreigners and rarely in the country to make decisions. After launch, I continued management of two restaurant and bar establishments, including staffing, scheduling, HR and payroll. I oversaw stock control, processed orders, managed cash flow, and made good on supplier payments. Crisis management and social media management was a part of daily operations. Show less
