      Using cooperative learning and direct instruction strategies, I created and implemented a curriculum for 5th and 6th graders on sex education, HIV/AIDS prevention, and leadership development. Due to its success, the program was adopted by the Health Program and was used by other volunteers. Fulfilling a passion of mine, I promoted literacy by creating three new libraries for children and adolescents.

I assess students and maintain close contact with parents and teachers in order to provide them with updates on academic progress and strategies for assisting their child.
