      2007 - 2008
Doctor of philosophy - phd physics

My computational and theoretical research covered three topics. Firstly the self organised patterns formed in an earth-quake and friction model called the Burridge and Knopoff model, secondly the influence of latent heat on the phase growth of liquid crystals using coupled phase field models, and finally the self assembly of self-assembled chains of "living polymers" into thicker fibers.

I finished my first year (propedeuse) in physics and switched to natural sciences, then a relatively new masters degree where students were educated to become interdisciplinary researchers. My specializations were biological physics and computational/numerical physics. I spent the last year of my studies on an internship research project at the department of theoretical solid state physics, were I worked on a model inspired by my previous internship on plant cell-wall dynamics at the plant biology department. Product Owner and Domain Expert of a software development team that combines static modeling and dynamic modelling in a single integrated platform. Currently mainly working as Domain Expert and Test Coordinator of coupling our modelling suite to external dynamic reservoir simulators. Reservoir Engineer for the Carbonate Research Team and the Geology and New Reservoir Types team, specializing in dynamic modelling and upscaling of fractured reservoirs. I teach the reservoir engineering part of the Shell Integrated Reservoir Modelling for Carbonate Reservoirs course, and the Naturally Fractured Reservoir part of the Advanced Reservoir Simulation course.
