Software supported included SOLARIS, SunOS, and DOS operating systems as well as multiple versions of COASTLINE software designed to run on either operating platform. Hardware supported included SUN SPARC stations running as network clients and servers, TARMAC INTEL communication interfaces, and IBM compatible SCOPE 1000 and SCOPE 2000 machines. Performed quality control functions for various data inputs to NSOC from field stations worldwide. Maintained and preserved NSOC’s databases using specialized procedures. Trained and assisted NSOC analysts to utilize all available software and hardware packages available to them. Provided remote system support to NSA field sites. Also served as a System Administrator for the Hardware Team, Computer Resource Management.
