May 2011 - Aug 2011Summer Internship ProgramI was a part of the Nestle College Student Program. I worked on the floor in various jobs. We were put in departments that had shortages, or if full time employees wanted to take vacation. So I had to learn to adjust and pick up multiple jobs in a short amount of time. Very flexible and able to get jobs done in a timely matter, and working at Nestle helped me sharpen these skills. Had to work with a variety of people, and make sure to communicate effectively and sincerely.

This includes using Taleo for recruitments, Kronos for attendance, the Nest for EAF'S and SAP to run reports. My job is to be available to our 500+ employees at all times. I have had the opportunity to grow at Nestle by getting involved in our weekly operational meetings as well as taking part in investigations and grievances.I understand and assist with the medical leave process as well as create all LOTO and hourly badges. I also help manage and update all plant manager boards so we can stay connected and in clear communication at all times with our employees. I have face to face interactions with employees everyday to answer any questions they may have from needing help with our Kronos badging system to FMLA paperwork.I enjoy the challenges my job brings and look forward to continuing my career as apart of the Nestle team.
