      Worked as a Duty Manager at the Basingstoke Aquadrome, 1 month before doors opened. I helped to recruit staff members train them in First Aid and Health and Safety.I was on call at evenings and weekends when not on duty as the responsible building person, as well as this I helped develop the working procedures and practices in the centre. I completed regular training for the Front of House team and dealt with customer relations and cash handling on a daily basis.

      I was employed as a Duty Manager for 3 years, before being promoted to Assistant Manager. This role was to work closely with the Leisure Centre Manager and other department heads to ensure safe running of the centre.I developed the pool lifeguard qualification and worked closely with the RLSS to ensure correct working practices, I delivered First Aid and Health and safety training, CPD sessions and induction programmes with new team members. I Managed the team of 4 Duty Managers and the Front of House teams within the centre. I was the Health and Safety Representative for the building and worked to achieve compliance Industry standards (QUEST) as well as local council standards. I completed SLA's, procedures and Risk Assessments for 2 Leisure Centre's.I worked with Budget constraints and oversaw a number of building projects whilst in post. Show less

      Completed 5 months of additional cover of the management of the team and was moved to the Workforce Scheduling Team in Birmingham as of December 2024. This is Managing a team of 14 people Workforce Schedulers who roster the work for 400 trainers in Workplace Training across the Country. The team also works to plan with other teams the amount of courses that can be taken on and the development of trainers and activties that take place to ensure that the training team have the right skills to deliver the demand of courses. This role is in addition to the Resources Team post initally. I work with key stakeholders to ensure that delivery of additional courses is added to our course schedule for our customer base. I attend bid calls to input the level of trainers and qualifications they hold in order to support SJA to win bids. Recently updaated processes to speed up enquiries from our customer service team to book additional courses and also implemented processes with the Workplace Training Team to get more trainers travelling to cover hot spot areas in the country. Show less Managing a Team of Procurement Administrators, Resource Coordinators, Training Administrators and Stores operatives/Drivers that deliver the Resources for Community, Schools, Workplace and Volunteer Courses that take place Nationally across the country. Manage the process of pre/post course administration for external Training bodies. Working with various teams across the organisation and externally to ensure a standard approach for training materials is reached for all training courses that are run. Show less I manage a team of Rostering Coordinators in Guildford who book over 150 trainers for First Aid and Health and Safety training courses in the South part of the country. I work closely with other departments to achieve budgets through planning and scheduling of courses, promoting of upskilling of trainers and projects.The other part of my role is based at Park Royal London. I manage a team of Resource Coordinators, Procurement Administrators and Stores Operatives/Drivers. I manage the function of the resources for the training team in the South of the country. Equipment for the delivery of training courses, Health and Safety course administration, supporting the Volunteer and Community training teams as well as the Workplace teams. I work closely with a large number of teams to ensure that the venues, trainers, students and companies have what they need.The daily management of my team includes performance and absence management, PDR meetings, mentoring and training. Show less Looked after a team of 8 staff that managed the rostering of over 100 trainers to courses in the South East and the resources that were needed for each of the trainers and courses taking place.As part of this role, I also Managed the Allocations for the Eastern Region looking after 2 members of staff and another 60 trainers. As part of this I standardised working systems and service level agreements, introduced a plan of replacement equipment and provided a on call service for Allocations at weekends. Show less Part of this role was the direct line management of 25 trainers working in the Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey counties. I was responsible for the correct delivery of the training courses, cpd training for trainers, HR processes, increasing sales and output of training venues. Working with facilities teams to ensure that the building standards were correct for course delivery. For a 6 month period, I also looked after Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire delivery coordinators role. As well as this I was asked for a few months to cover the Allocations side of the training team, rostering the trainers to the venues. I also completed a number of induction days for new starters and completed recruitment in the South East training team. Show less
