WRVR was the market's Arbitron share leader, total week, for women 25-54 in every ratings period of my tenure. Station was tied for Keymarket's #1 revenue margin leader in 1992 and 1993. Directed launch of Urban Oldies WJCE (AM 680 The Juice) in August 1993. Returned the frequency to the market's Arbitron Top Ten share ranker, total week, reaching #9 with Adults 25-54, in both the Summer and Fall 1994 ratings periods. Show less

      In addition to the Greenville-Spartanburg stations, was promoted to lead programming strategy and the program directors charged to execute strategy at Sinclair's Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point cluster: Urban/Rap WJMH (102 Jamz), Urban AC WQMG, Oldies WMQX (Oldies 93.1) and Urban Gospel WEAL (1510 Big Wheel Gospel). Stations commanded >90% of the market's African-American audience. Assisted WMQX in management and coaching of legendary Top 40 talent Jack Armstrong. When Sinclair sold the clusters to Entercom, the company's regional program director positions were dissolved. Directed 1995 format flips of WFBC-FM from Oldies to Top40/Pop B 93.7 and Alternative WXWX to Oldies WOLI (Oldies 103). Also responsible for Soft AC WSPA-FM (Lite Rock 98.9), News/Talk WORD and Talk/Sports WSPA. From spring 1996 through tenure, B93.7 achieved #1 or #2 Adults 18-34. Lite Rock 98.9 defeated format competitor, Women 25-54, in 21 of the 25 ratings periods during tenure. Directed format flip of WOLI from Oldies to All-80s Star 103 in November 2000. Note: Entercom purchased cluster from Sinclair Broadcast Group in December 1999.
