Responsible for ensuring the attainment of the Navy’s enlisted recruiting goals through the supervision of over $2 million of resources and 185 recruiters in 56 recruiting offices across Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Kentucky. • Demonstrated remarkable managerial and budgetary planning skills in ensuring the Navy met or exceeded all national recruiting priorities on a consistent basis. Our district was ranked #1 of 26 recruiting districts across the nation for nuclear programs and I directed our recruiting team to a 77% increase in Naval Special Warfare attainment during FY 2007. The command also achieved 101% active duty mission and a 44% increase in diversity attainment during FY 2007.• Collaborated with senior-level staff to manage the hiring process, performance reviews, employee rankings, promotions, and terminations for Navy recruiting personnel in our four state territory. • Directed oversight of on-boarding, routine sales training and qualification boards for all enlisted recruiters. I also invoked clear and measurable metrics to improve retention in a Delayed Entry Program (DEP) pool of nearly 1,000 recruits awaiting shipment to basic training. Show less
