The incumbent will be responsible for promoting and conducting 911 education programs in coordination with area schools and professional organizations. The incumbent maintains and updates the mapping functions within the Computer Aided Dispatch database, responsible for the coordination of the schedules for the Tactical Dispatch Program, coordinates the monthly tornado siren test and performs other administrative functions as assigned. Due to the vital importance of the CALEA Accreditation Management function, and the below listed essential responsibilities, this position shall not be tasked with the day to day dispatching duties.Communication both orally and written are required for this position.
