- Experience - Volunteer behavioral health care systemsNov 2010 - Aug 2011Hr clerk- I worked closely with five other people, who hired new employees, wrote checks and filed all personal information for the entire company. I worked a great deal with the head of my department, and quickly gained respect for my work ethic and speed. This required use of Microsoft Office applications. (Excel, Word) I was also asked to compile complete information for all employees in the company. I worked closely with new software to the company, in regards to payroll. I was required to keep all information to myself, and was required to ensure the protection of personal files. I completed concurrent training, as a result of having no real job description. I also ran interoffice mail, and did ample filing. I left this job, because I was moving to Knoxville, TN to go to school again. Show less
 - American eagle outfittersNov 2012 - Feb 2013Salesfloor associate- I usually worked at the front of the store greeting customers and informing them of the daily sales and deals we had going for any given day. We used headsets in order to give and receive info about inventory and customer service throughout any given shift. we were assigned to maintain a given area of the store; folding, hanging and repositioning clothes and displays as the day progressed. We were also asked to be aware of any items that were running low on the sales-floor, and were told to communicate with the stockroom to replenish them. Show less
 - Avm enterprises incMar 2013 - Mar 2019- I work all bids from reception to submission. We typically focus on janitorial/custodial bids; as well as many disposable paper and plastic product bids. I typically work 3 or more bids at once; usually receiving pricing at differing times from our vendors. Tabulations and prior arrangements are very important to make yourself acquainted with, as they will typically tell you what and how you need to provide the products. I am familiar with MAS90, HeartlandExpress (payment system), Word, Excel, Outlook, and RMS (collections services). The company has been awarded bids for Robertson County, Forsyth County, The City of Chattanooga Tn Bradley County, Catoosa County, McMinn County, Meigs County, Greater Orlando Aviation, Nashville Electric Services, Hamilton County Tn and many more We compete with large and small vendors alike. We often win specific line items, but recently we have been won blanket awards for The City of Crossville and the The city of Chattanooga. We have received many bid renewals this 2018 season, and many first time opportunities. This process has allowed me the opportunity to bring in new more appropriately priced items for our own inventory. I have also learned that the submission of a bid is only the beginning. I now have regular contact with many bid solicitors. As a result of unique bid items and request that may follow after the awarding of a bid, I have had to learn how to source products, that meet specifications as well as pricing necessities. We have added many items to our catalog that better fit with school systems and government buildings, and have changed some of our purchasing practices as a result. I have relationships with vendors for any product needed in the JAN/SAN arena. Show less The running theme of my day is a 20-24 page call-list, which shows all customers who are past due on their account as of midnight the night before. I usually organize that list from the larger to the smaller balances in order to make sure those customers with larger past due balances receive more opportunity to pay. While making calls I receive payments from customers, calls about payment issues, calls regarding account management issues and have recently begun to turn accounts over to RMS collections. When I decide to turn an account over for collections, it is only after every effort is made to allow the customer to make payment or make other arrangements. When turning accounts over for collections, I have to collect proof of delivery for all orders which are unpaid. I compile a folder for the customer and get all relevant information that our lawyer will need to collect payment or move towards a settlement.Another large portion of my job is to deal with customers' credit issues. Every customer is either given a line of credit, with a certain limit based on merit, or the customer must make payment prior to or at the time of delivery. I sometimes run small errands around town for my boss, or for the owner of the company. I am familiar with MAS90, HeartlandExpress (payment system), Word, Excel, Outlook, and RMS (collections services). Recently, I have begun to deal with returns, and issues of delivery. I have developed relationships with our smaller shipping companies, and find it easy to file claims and track shipping with UPS and FedEx. I've now started providing POD's and signed invoices from deliveries on a daily basis to customers who request such information. I have always been in a customer service role, even while solely working in our company's Accounts Department, but now I feel like I deal with customer problems ranging from issues with delivery to price matching. - Tennessee valley authorityApr 2019 - now- This role is a contract management specific one with thresholds for requests from all Business Units that encompass the GP&FS sites. In this role I create RFPs, plan and schedule site walk-downs, negotiate contract terms and conditions, manage contract spend, manage expirations/extensions and audit invoices issued against my contracts. I also run reports for Contract Managers and Senior Contract Managers related to supplier performance, spend and adherence to TVA policies. I continue to serve as the primary contact for the VIQS Transition Project, Amazon Business account and eRFQ program. Show less I manage just under 30 contracts that vary a great deal in scope, cost and complexity. My responsibilities here include negotiating contract language, maintaining contract pricing if necessary, adding funds or amending contracts and working with contractor to resolve any issues that arise. As a contract manager, I am responsible for the functioning of the contract and will facilitate communications with contractor when necessary.I run quarterly and monthly reports for review by contract managers, senior managers and directors in Supply Chain. All of these reports either exists in Cognos and must be manipulated, or have a dashboard that can be downloaded and then manipulated in an Excel spreadsheet.I am a member of the VIQS Transition and Portal Utilization team and am responsible for the TVA's Amazon Business account. The VIQS project is a project where I assist with adding request to the Supplier Information team to add existing vendors to the new invoicing portal. I manage several lists of vendors, attend monthly meetings and am working on training for buyers. It is my responsibility to train new buyers, and provide training to the team as a whole when deficits are found. I review TVA's initiatives as well as day to day process maps for their buyer role. At TVA, there are certain thresholds that exists for different individuals within our purchasing system. Because of this fact there are many requests that Nuclear buyers receive but are not permitted to complete. When this happens, the buyer sends me the information they have to that point and I evaluate how to proceed with the purchase.I was also responsible for running the reports, compiling the data and creating the presentations for the KPI meetings with our Alliance partners. These are TVA nuclear’s most important contractors because of the work, and materials they provide on a daily basis. Show less - Contracts Manager for Power Ops & Dam SafetyApr 2022 - now
