  At the City of Lubbock I worked in the Planning Department as a Urban Planner and Senior Planner role. I primarily oversaw development review for zoning and subdivision regulations. I specialized in Downtown development and was a part of long range planning initiatives such as the City Comprehensive Plan, Downtown Master Plan, and the Unified Development Code. I was also the Historic Preservation Officer and Staff Liaison to the Urban Design and Historic Preservation Commission which oversaw preservation modification requests, district and landmark designations and preservation policy.
