  Using my background experience in IT, databases, systems development, training, integrations and of course Facilities put me at an advantage when beginning the journey of Asset Management within the Facilities Department of Victoria University. Initially started with a full data capture of all assets using a customised tool and engaging with framework contractors. This began the single source of truth and allowed for data analysis for financials, lifecycle forecasting, risk & compliance assessments, and alignment with contractual agreements.Engaged with consultants to develop a framework along with required AMPs, IAMP(Integrated Asset Management Plan), policies, procedures, documentation, MoC(Management of Change) and training to all Facilities staff as everyone either contributes or is impacted.Integrating all asset data into the Asset module within the Facilities Management System allowed for connectivity with work orders, spatial data including floor plans. Further developed integration with BI tool for dynamic reporting requirements for senior management, Facilities managers and officers. Show less
