  Graduate of the Navy Diving and Salvage Training Center, Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Army Airborne School, and Naval Special Warfare Military Freefall (HALO) School. CPR and Tactical Combat Casualty Care-qualified. Mastered risk assessment, intelligence analysis, and strategic planning to lead high-stress operations and technical skills to defuse bombs and all types of explosive, improvised, chemical, biological, or radiological hazards.

  Managed the manning, logistics, and deployments of four platoons (32 personnel) conducting EOD diving, disposal operations, and contingency operations across Europe and Africa. Commanded an eight man EOD platoon on a nine-month deployment in the South China Sea, serving as the primary EOD asset for Carrier Strike Group THREE. Responsible for all aspects of team leadership, operations, training, and logistics. Planned and executed two multinational exercises, directing 30 personnel through four antiterrorism force protection and underwater remotely operated vehicle courses of instruction. Led live demolition operations in conjunction with seven foreign militaries.
