  As a Manager of Optical Transmission Network Operations and Performance Department, my responsibilities are:- Developing and executing operational strategies that support digital transformation initiatives in transmission O&M.- Creating a set of KPIs to measure performance against company targets and ensure alignment with business objectives.- Monitoring and tracking progress using business analysis and proposing recommendations for new or improved performance opportunities.- Overseeing all aspects of operations, including ordering, service provisioning, delivery, activation, and assurance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.- Optimizing processes and improving efficiency by monitoring, auditing, analyzing, and reengineering all technical processes to enhance operational performance and maintain business continuity.- Developing dynamic dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track and manage all O&M performance KPIs and providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new projects and services.- Analyzing SLA, OLA, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improving operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.- Conducting regular training sessions for team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.- Tracking and participating in industry conferences and workshops to keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field of operations and performance management.- Managing the budget and resources of the Operations and Performance Department to ensure effective utilization and optimization of available resources. Show less As a Manager of Optical Transmission Network Capacity Planning Department, my responsibilities were:- Managing and overseeing the handling of various transmission requests from a diverse range of customers, including mobile operators (such as Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, and WE), ISPs, international VIP customers (like Facebook, STC, Google, and Microsoft), governmental entities, and business enterprises, for transmission services (ranging from E1 up to 200 GE).- Develop and execute short-term planning strategies for extension, dismantling, and utilization projects to ensure efficient use of available resources.- Review new projects and customer forecasts and allocate the necessary transmission services to meet demand.- Continuously improve and optimize the DWDM, OTN, and SDH Transmission Network for Huawei and Nokia to enhance network reliability and performance.- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on network status and capacity to identify and prevent potential congestion issues in the future.In addition to the above responsibilities, I have also been actively involved in:- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new projects and services.- Conducting regular training sessions for team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.- Participating in industry conferences and workshops to keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the field of capacity planning and network optimization.- Managing the budget and resources of the Capacity Planning Department to ensure effective utilization and optimization of available resources.
