      Software Engineer

As a software engineer at Kepco, I was able to grow my skills in Python and application design by leading the efforts to implement software based tools that allowed us to overhaul Kepco's validation, testing, and data handling. Automation of these functions has greatly sped up our development time. Utilizing Python and Django I lead efforts to conceptualize, design, test, and release a brand new modular automated testing application leading to the modernization and further documentation of our production testing infrastructure. Utilizing Python for scripting I was able to perform in depth validation on firmware revisions (written in C) for PIC32 and STM32 based power supply systems.Incorporated machine learning tools which utilized open source libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and Numpy to simplify visual inspection, verify incoming oscilloscope data via USB, and flag erroneous data from testing. Lead the engineering and production teams in the end to end process of power supply design from concept to product securing revenue and releasing new products. Show less
