Dec 2012 - Oct 2017In this role I had responsibility for building Product Pages and Search Pages for the new Contiki Holidays website. This involved defining technical requirements, liaising with key stakeholders across seven selling regions and five operating regions, providing design briefs and feedback, and reporting regularly to senior management. Key responsibilities were:• Creating the Product backlog using Story Mapping and interviews with key stakeholders• Determining a strategic approach to deliver value aligned with the business strategy and market needs• Documenting technical data and business requirements and translating into user stories and epics to allow product backlog refinement• Reviewing the backlog and updating senior stakeholders of expected release dates based on velocity of the team and predicted estimations• Using Sprint Planning to define Sprints and the Sprint Goals with the development team and scrum master• Ensuring feedback from Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives were added to the product backlog • Analysing data on the increment to gain insights that could be used for further improvements• Briefing designers on new work, reviewing and providing feedback, running workshops and performing user testing for the new product• Regular reviews and analysis of the backlog, deadlines and updated campaign dates to ensure we delivered the MVP in time to meet the sales and business needs Show less As Project Manager I managed the requirements gathering, tender, design and build of a new travel blog for Contiki Holidays, as well as integration with partners API’s and changes to the existing e-commerce website. It included• Liaising with the design team and senior management to define the front end of the site• Defining requirements with key stakeholders• Preparing the RFP and reviewing proposals from potential development agencies• Reviewing functionality built by the selected agency and providing feedback• Assisting stakeholders and content writers to prepare and launch the site• Helping partner companies to define requirements for API integration• Testing and providing feedback on partners API’s, including edge case scenarios for various international regions Show less As the Content Manager for the Contiki Holidays website, this role was responsible for content for all product pages, in 8 selling regions and 5 operating regions. This was a self organising role, allowing me to manage my workload in the most optimal way to deliver value to Contiki and the stakeholders. I was responsible for liaising with stakeholders from each of the regions, defining the technical structure of the trips as they would appear on the site, the management of communications prior to and on brochure launch day to all regions and for maintaining the accuracy of the site.I worked closely with the Project Management teams, defining requirements for new development as well as with Sales teams to gather and understand their needs for product pages and search.
