      The Alfred Nicholas Fellowship - May 2020 The Alfred Nicholas Fellowship was established by Brayburn Securities Limited, formerly Carnbrea Pty. Limited, who offered a gift of property at Sassafras to the University of Melbourne for the purpose of teaching and researching biological sciences, particularly in the disciplines of zoology, genetics, and botany.       The Megan Klemm Postgraduate Research Scholarship - May 2020 The Megan Klemm Postgraduate Research Award was established through the generosity of Megan’s estate after she lost her battle with cancer in 2002. It commemorates her contributions as an electron microscopist in the former School of Botany and her courage in working with students and staff of the School until shortly before her death.
