As an HR Business Partner, I assist with executing business objectives while ensuring compliance of internal policies and external legislation.HR Advice and ConsultationAdvise internal managers on a variety of matters including recruitment, compensation, employee/labour relations, performance management, DEI efforts, compliance, policy administration, etc. Proven ability to build strong relationships of trust and respect with leaders and employees as a subject matter expert. Advise and assist leaders in assessing ongoing workforce planning needs through examination, reflection and alignment of positions, organization structure in consideration of the organizations business needs. Labour/Employee RelationsSupport and coach manager in conflict resolutions. Participate/lead investigations, facilitate mediations, and grievances resolutions. Deliver subject matter expertise and guidance on matters involving workplace violence, discrimination and harassment, return-to-work/modified work. Provide guidance and support in all aspects of a unionized employee environment.Performance ManagementSupport the annual Performance Management Process. Track and document performance data, providing insights to support merit increases, promotions, and other comp-related decisions.Continuous Improvement.
