As United Way's Segmented Market Specialist, I conceptualized, developed and executed customized strategies to retain and grow designated portfolios of community partners and investors. Moreover, while working closely with a volunteer committee, I helped to develop a donor affinity program (YLU) by helping to facilitate the process, planning and implementation of a strategic plan aimed at increasing affinity group membership and revenue. I also worked to develop and execute customized awareness, engagement and solicitation strategies in partnership with other United Way Silicon Valley staff. As my role as Segmented Market Specialist, I also worked to coordinate and manage special events. Show less As one of United Way Silicon Valley's Development Officers, I cultivated and enhanced relationships with donors, volunteers, community stakeholders, nonprofit partners, corporate liaisons and employee groups throughout Silicon Valley. Through these relationships and consultative sales strategies, I created awareness around UWSV's programs and frameworks as well as community engagement opportunities. Additionally, I raised an overall workplace campaign top line total of $1,295,340 from $524,449. Marketing efforts included the conception, creation and implementation of customized communication and campaign strategies. Additionally, in concert with key team members, outreach strategies were developed and executed offering effective tools to retain and grow portfolios of corporate and high-net worth donors. With regards to project and relationship management, I developed and customized strategies to relationship manage over 60 corporate and governmental community partnerships. Furthermore, and in an effort to expand my role as Development Officer, I provided leadership and support to United Way Silicon Valley’s affinity groups such as the Innovators' Society and established a close working relationship with United Way Friends of India.Utilization of CRM Management System: meticulous efforts maintained complete and accurate data for assigned corporate and individual investors as well as volunteers. These efforts also assisted in the identification and pursuance of potential new business and private foundation funding opportunities. Business development efforts also included the analysis of current business trends, corporate profiles and previous donor history. As a Development Officer, I became expert at public speaking and group presentations.
