Show less At NxStage Medical, I trouble shoot issues associated with our medical devices - System One Cycler, Pure Flow SL, Therapy Fluid Warmers and Other equipment supplied by NxStage including Blood lines used for Hemo-Dialysis. This is a truly unique experience as I get to work with a diverse group as well as a broad spectrum of clients. I provide assistance with resolving issues as well as day to day operation of the medical devices being utilized. Generally I am helping anywhere from an 80 year old to an engineer or MD that wants to know just how this incredible piece of equipment works. This is one of my favorite parts of being a Technical Support Specialist II for NxStage. My past experiences as a Dialysis Technician have allowed for the use of all Dialysis Machines currently approved for Dialysis treatments by the FDA, as well as extensive knowledge of advanced water systems. In addition to assisting medical professionals and engineers from the ICU to the average in-home user, I also analyze the internal operating structures of the devices digitally as part of a decisions making process to determine if failure has occurred. Although not an expert in this area I am endeavoring to lean more every opportunity afforded to me. With over 10 years of Dialysis related experience I for-see continued developmental growth.
