  • About me

In 2017, I sat in a hospital corridor, overwhelmed and helpless in despair. My parents' health had taken a drastic turn, and life as I knew it was crumbling. I was an assistant professor teaching PhD students, a gold medallist in MSc human genetics, and completed my PhD in neuroscience. But none of my academic achievements prepared me for the emotional rollercoaster of caregiving. In 2018, I lost my father & made a life-altering decision—to pause my social life, flourishing career and dreams to care for my mother full-time. Financial stress, emotional burnout, and the isolation of caregiving hit me hard. My mother's deteriorating health kept me in high stress. I questioned my purpose, my identity, and my future. But in that darkness, I found a light. I found mentors and started my self-development journey. I realized the profound connection between our nervous system, emotions, finances, success and overall well-being. I dove deep into psychology, trauma therapy, energy medicine, business psychology and leadership coaching—not just as a professional but as a person seeking healing. I discovered how unprocessed trauma affects not just our minds but also our health, wealth, and relationships. I reinvented my life and career and started working with a renowned Self & business development organization. In 2022, I lost my mom, and once again, everything crashed. But I did not drown in the sea of sorrow. I restarted my healing journey, rebuilding my confidence, redefined success, and restoring balance in my relationships. And that's when Traumawalli was born. I defied societal expectations to create a life aligned with my values and vision. After finding the right partner, I married at age 35 on my terms to the best life & business partner I could imagine. Heal, Grow, Lead: Your nervous system shapes how you see, feel, and respond to life. By rewiring it and aligning your energy, you can unlock your true potential, elevate your reality, and reconnect with your authentic Self. At Traumawalli, we guide you to regulate your nervous system, recalibrate your energy with the universe, and flow effortlessly through health, wealth, and relationship challenges and opportunities. Who we Serve: We work with high achievers, caregivers, professionals, and anyone feeling stuck. As DST-INSPIRE-Fellow, I pursued research in the field of Alzheimer's disease treatment. I conducted experiments in search of lead-compound possessing medicinal plants for drugs that might be useful in treatment of Alzheimer's disease. I have published 4 research articles and presented my work in more than 10 conferences.Research is a team work. Experimentation designing, methodology and execution are the initial steps. Data analysis, compilation, interpretation followed by proper representation of data is crucial for a research work. Precise and error-free written communication of findings of a research work is key-point. Plus, we always have to acknowledge work of other scientists too. So, compilation of bibliography is done meticulously.I helped my colleagues in all these steps and became well-versed in working as a team as well as team-leader and also, in using Microsoft Word-Excel-Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Endnote, and other useful applications. I was appointed laboratory manager by my supervisor for four years. Scope of this position included coordination of day-to-day activities, scheduling instrument usage, various purchase and repair of laboratory instruments as well as chemicals and consumables. It also came with the responsibility of maintaining synergy and cordial relationship among all the laboratory members (which was actually tricky because we all know people ought to be different). I trained myself to be part of solution rather than being part of the problem. All this experience , played major part in shaping me up as better and well-equipped version of myself. It gave me vast range of exposure and made me realised my capabilities. As a scientist, it only became my nature to be a trouble-shooter and find solution to a problem, instead of making excuses. I am a confident, focussed, determined, people-friendly and trouble-shooting person with multi-tasking, quick-learning and leadership qualities. Show less

I believe language should not be a barrier in the pursuit of research. So, I employed my experience and skills in helping students from non-English educational background. I assisted several students pursuing doctoral degree in data analysis, compilation and interpretation of their research work. I helped students to graphically represent and write their findings in grammatically and scientifically correct English language.

      Breathing Warrior

Breathing Warrior is a movement founded by my mother, Madhu Vyas, a lady with an oxygen tube on a mission to empower, enable & educate 10 million people with breathing problems & their family caregivers to take charge of their life with chronic lung illness & putting manner to the madness of caregiving. I firmly believe that caregiving is a life-altering role that life puts us into. A person in that position has to reinvent himself/herself holistically to be mentally, emotionally, socially, and financially strong. Under the powerful umbrella of breathing warrior, we enable caregivers to be better leaders in their lives and grow in their careers because a middle-class family is just one hospital bill away from bankruptcy. Do check out my TEDx talk and website regarding the same. breathingwarrior.com Show less
