      Activities and Societies: ASME, RandScott Inc. Independent Study Program Worked with RandScott Inc. as an Engineering Intern. Created an Independent Study program within the Mechanical Engineering department at Colorado State University and RandScott Inc. This partnership resulted in 2 senior design projects which I was the team lead. We created a mechanical assisted lift design for paraplegics and quadriplegics to ensure safe transfer.

      Represented the Product Engineering department as an active member of the Consumer Oral Health Business Unit (COHBU), a cross-functional team consisting of Sales, Marketing, Quality, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. Lead the Consumer Oral Health Technical Design Team in identifying the largest areas of opportunity for a minimized investment using the Kiazen Continuous Improvement technique.       Responsible for research and development through commercialization of The Manual Pipette. The Manual Pipette product line spans a range of fluid handling from 1 Milliliter down to 200 Nano liters. This product incorporates high precision injection molded plastic parts, via Pro/ENGINEER, to achieve its market leading ergonomic feel and performance. This project aided in doubling the size of a forty-five year old company with a mission to serve the medical research community. Lead the design team through technical challenges and stringent deadlines.Developed a patentable process for the Teflon seal and piston of the Manual Pipette. Took the initiative to engage, Dr. Manville I. "Whitey" Bro, a research scientist who helped discover Teflon FEP for DuPont, in a collaborative effort to fully understand the material characteristics of FEP. Once I understood the flow characteristics of the FEP at room temperature, I created an innovative machining/annealing process to achieve high precision dimensional stability at room temperature. This annealing process was capable of achieving a surface roughness and dimensional stability smooth enough to generate the seal necessary without tremendous drag on the system. The combination of the innovative manufacturing process of the seal and piston allowed me to achieve the highest accuracy and precision manual pipette on the market balanced with ergonomic light mechanical assist spring forces. This unit is still on the market 15 years after initial release. Show less

      Assisted the Head of Sales with building a sales force to commercialize a newly launched product for the treatment of ADHD. Partnered with Syneos Healthcare to build a CSO in support of the customer engagement strategy. Innovated and developed the product launch meeting strategy and training required to enable the entire sales team for promotion in the field. The sales team consisted of 1 National Business Director, 10 District Sales Managers, 6 Field Sales Trainers, 92 Sales Representatives. Created and maintained the curriculum to drive product knowledge, sales skills, success behaviors, leadership and coaching throughout the team. In March of 2020 the entire team was halted for face-to-face promotion due to the COVID restrictions. Collaborated with the commercial team on a plan to re-launch the team virtually. Launched a new learning curriculum and Veeva CRM Veeva Engage allowing the sales force to become operational within 4 weeks. Built a new selling model, "Patient Focused Roadmap", to enhance dialogue question-based customer engagements. Developed and delivered all training materials toward adoption of the new model.
