      ▪ During last contract as deck cadet on Passenger ship I was interested in learning, confident and heaving excellent relationship with all crew members.▪ I passed onboard through most practical aspects of navigation, I got familiar with deck work andengine room.▪ I spend also a lot of time in researching for my assignments and I developed some improvement ideas for the ship.▪ Also was a good opportunity to demonstrate my understanding about the Officer's role, the duties on board.▪ I learned about Fire Prevention, Life Saving Appliances, Personal Protective Equipment, Accident Prevention (the human factor), Enclosed Spaces, Risk Assessment Procedure.▪ During the drills I learned that reaction times are important, each crew member must to proceed to the muster station and depends on the situation how they will react after (for example: in case offire everybody have to do his assigned duty, to wear the firefighting suits, to take fire hoses, extinguishers and in the last to extinguish the fire)▪ I learned about emergency and life saving equipment (lifebuoys, man over board, lifejackets, immersion suit, thermal protective aid, hand flares and pyrotechnics devices, lifeboats, life rafts)▪ I also worked a lot with ECDIS, I learned how to make passage plans, passage briefings and all the preparations for departure/ arrival.▪ I was doing the corrections for charts, nautical publications and keeping the evidece of stocks for bridge.▪ I learned how to make stability calculations, kept records of ship’s compass’ errors on the Gyro, Magnetic.
