      ABOUT THE ROLE I made sure there was 99% work done on my tasks which included; updating databases relating to Operations (pick-up schedules), Transportation activities (fuel and maintenance), stocking keeping, and updating Site Managers on new pick-up schedules. I reported directly to the Head of Operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Ensure overall responsibility for the Ashtown site, including the safeguarding of its assets, the working practices of the employees carrying out their duties on-site, the wellbeing of both employees and visitors whilst on site, and the appearance of the site. This was achieved to 99% all the time 2. Ensure that there are adequate resources for the Ashdown Site Manager, Transport Officer, and Waste Collectors to carry out their work. In case of any possible problem foreseen in this connection, you will be expected to advise management accordingly without delay. I made sure this was done to full capacity.3. Supervise the Waste Collectors in order to ensure that they meet their daily collection targets. This activity was 95% done most of the time4 Ensure that working practices at the site conform to the company’s standards as set out in the Health and Safety manual. With my human relations skills, I was able to connect with the waste collectors on a personal level to achieve 95% of this responsibility.5. Maintain and manage all databases relating to Operations (pick-up schedules), Transportation activities (fuel and maintenance), and stores (stock).6. Prepare monthly reports on operations, logistics, with my digital skills using the computer i made sure reports were prepared and submitted monthly7. Monitor Operations and transportation budget to ensure funds are properly utilized and implement organizational objectives as dictated by management.8.
