      -
Bachelor's degree Special Chemistry Very Good

Activities and Societies: Students for Egypt Team, Nabd Al-Azhar society -Event Coordinator in Students for Egypt Team. Responsible for organizing and coordinating Conferences and Seminars withing the university's campus and Al-Azhar Conference Center.-Team member in Nabd Al-Azhar student society. Summarizes university courses, assists in students preparation for exams and the job market.-Attended the one-day seminar on "Energy Harvesting and Storage Materials" held by The Egyptian Materials Research Society at Misr University for Science and Technology.

  • Experience

    • Al-Azhar University

      Feb 2023 - May 2023
      Undergraduate Research Assistant

-Worked on the fabrication of over 20 composite transparent conductive glass sheets using different combinations of various substances like B2O3, V2O5, Li2CO3, SnO2, MnO, Li2B4O7, Al2O3, CaCO3, SiO2, and Na2CO3, adjusting mole fractions to optimize properties.-Performed a series of follow-up tests including four-point probe for conductivity, UV-Vis spectroscopy for transparency, and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) for structural analysis.-Achieved a balanced combination of transparency as high as 85% in the visible light spectrum (400-700 nm) and low sheet resistance (10 Ω/sq) for some compositions, making them suitable for applications in display technologies and solar cells. • Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS)

      Jul 2023 - Jul 2023
      Student Intern

-Involved in a basic process simulation of a Fractionation unit using Aspen HYSYS.-Identified the major components of a natural gas sample through Gas Chromatogram and calculated its BTU using the heat of combustion value for each component.-Exposed to the simulation of a Floating Storage and Regasification unit (FSRU) in the import process of LNG.-Exposed to potential problems and their solutions that may occur in the National Natural Gas Network, such as back pressure and corrosion prevention using cathodic protection. The training was very informative as I was exposed to various topics related to gas industry, such as the composition of natural gas, fractionation units, and the treatment of accompanying impurities like Hg, H2S, CO2, and H2O. I learned about gas chromatography, derivatives extraction, the uses of rich and lean gases, gas pressure units, and the management and operation of the national network. The training covered companies involved in the production, transportation, and distribution of natural gas, as well as metering and regulation units, LNG production, foreign partnerships management, and import and export methods. Additionally, we delved into the electricity sector as the largest consumer of natural gas, discussing power generation stations, and addressing potential issues in the supply-demand balance and energy conservation methods. • EGYPTIAN PETROLEUM RESEARCH INSTITUTE

      Jul 2023 - Aug 2023
      Student Trainee

-Worked on a Solar Simulator to test the efficiency of sunlight conversion for two types of solar cell prototypes: Silicon Solar Panel and Organic Photovoltaic Solar Cell (Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell), under standard sunlight conditions (Intensity: 1000 W/m² - Spectrum: AM1.5G - Temperature: 25°C). The resulting efficiencies are 20% for the Si Solar Panel and 7% for the DSSC.- Training included courses on petrochemicals, water treatment systems, and solar energy.

    • National Research Centre (NRC)

      Aug 2023 - Jun 2024

-Developed a process for preparing Graphene Oxide from agricultural waste and modifying wool fibers, enhancing their adsorption properties by 97%. Conducted adsorption experiments to optimize dye removal using Box-Behnken design and response surface methodology, and analyzed results with a UV-VIS spectrophotometer. Employed advanced characterization techniques (TEM, SEM, EDX, FTIR, XRD), and performed antimicrobial evaluations, achieving a 95% reduction in microbial growth.-Being the only student in a team of experienced researchers was an amazing opportunity to absorb a wealth of knowledge and gain insights into academic writing, despite being primarily responsible for the practical side of the research. Together, we introduced a solution addressing three major issues in Egypt: water pollution, agricultural waste, and textile waste. Our work contributes to a more sustainable circular green economy, and we all collaborated to organize and present our findings, contributing to a soon-to-be-published scientific research paper.
