Recognized in Forbes' 2021 Top 100 Young Innovators list for pioneering battery repurposing strategies, which highlighted innovative contributions to energy storage.

    • Università degli studi di Parma

      Nov 2020 - now

Designed and validated low-power electronic circuits for food quality assessment in the METROFOOD-IT European project, ensuring reliable signal acquisition. Developed PCB prototypes with Altium Designer, which were optimized for ultra-low power consumption and noise. Implemented firmware in C for STM32 and Texas Instruments MCUs, integrating I2C, SPI, UART, and WiFi communication for real-time data acquisition and cloud communications. The designed IoT multichannel device was used for electrochemical analysis, acting as an e-tongue and e-nose in detecting food fraud. The system performance was verified by conducting hardware validation and benchmarking with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, signal analyzer, power supply, multimeter, etc), ensuring compliance with design specifications (simulated in LTSpice). Acquired data were analyzed in MATLAB/Simulink. Published research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. Show less
