  Led implementation delivery of a 5-year DFID Program Partnership Agreement (PPA) funded integrated community health project that integrated community health promotion with community system strengthening in 3 states in Nigeria in partnership with 6 partner organizations. The project reached about 2 million Nigerians through integrated health promotion and/or services, established/resuscitated and empowered over 80 community development committees (CDCs) to engage duty bearers.• Successfully facilitated partnership between Christian Aid and Marie Stopes International, Water Aid and the Vitamin Angels to increase marginalized communities’ access to family planning, improved sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services and vitamin A supplements and deworming.• Initiated primary health centers assessment in selected facilities across 4 states and the FCT covering the WHO six building blocks of health system. The findings of the assessment are being used to engage policy/decision makers at local and state levels for health care planning and resourcing.• Initiated and led the first open call for implementing partners recruitment in the country office and globally in the organization. Served as Partnership Focal Person for West Africa.• Supported Christian Aid Malawi Country Program with partners’ performance and partnership management system and continuous support to 3 other country programs• Supported community structures (80 Community Development Committees) on voice and accountability.   • As a member of the Program Management Team, I worked with the Project Director and the Deputy Project Director in the design of project strategies, coordinated planning and monitored implementation that resulted in the achievement of 88% burn rate and 84% grant target performance – first time in Nigeria’s history. • Conducted strategic analysis of activities required to achieve project performance target and high financial burn rate.• Collated and finalized reprogramming request (based on learning and need) for submission to the Global Fund.• Initiated program strategies informed by implementation experience to enhance performance and reduce project and organizational exposure to risk.• Contributed significantly to the successful extension of the Grant for 18 months (July 2019 – December 2020) through proposal development and design of the new Implementation Arrangement. Managed a team of 27 technical and operations staff to deliver services in 7 local government areas (LGAs) of Borno State in Nigeria’s North East. Successfully expanded the state program from 3 local government councils to 7 LGAs. Facilitated partnership with INTERSOS (an international NGO working in Nigeria’s North East) to increase access of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to HIV treatment services. Show less

  FHI 360 is the Principal Recipient of the Global Fund HIV Grant in Nigeria. FHI 360 and its allied organization (AHNI) work in 33+1 states of Nigeria in partnership with 6 sub recipients and the Government of Nigeria ministries, departments and agencies.• Conducted strategic analysis and tracking of project deliverables (including reports & management actions), implementation plan, financial burn rate and procurement to enable Project Director and Deputy Project Director take strategic decisions.• Supported the Deputy Director in the daily management of program management and operations teams.• Attended Funding Request Application (2021-2023) meetings with Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) and responded on behalf of the PR to all operational requests on the Funding Request Application.• Coordinated all capacity development activities in the 5 supported states of the National Treatment and PMTCT Program (NTPP)/State as Implementing Entity using the preferred capacity assessment tool (National Harmonized Organizational Capacity Assessment - NHOCAT).• Coordinated the engagement of stakeholders across the 5 supported states towards the attainment of the institutional capacity strengthening (ICS) objectives.
