  Ensure all site operatives are aware of risks and hazards associated with their tasks and work environment.Communicate safety procedures clearly to all personnel and maintain visibility of safety signage and guidelines.Regularly monitor and enforce safety protocols on site to prevent and halt dangerous work practices immediately.Carry out routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensure corrective measures are implemented.Ensure that all near-misses, accidents, and incidents are promptly reported, investigated, and corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.Support management in preparing and updating project safety plans.Conduct formal safety training sessions (toolbox talks, on-site training, etc.), ensuring all personnel are equipped with the knowledge to work safely.Organize and conduct HSE workshops, including multimedia presentations, practical demonstrations, and mock exercises at field locations. Provide training of fire and H2S to all staff.  Perform drills of fire fighting and rescue with different scenarios e.g. oil fire, gas fire, electric fire, rescue from confined space, rescue from height etc. Monitor the condition of emergency response equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and other safety gear.Lead regular fire evacuation drills and emergency preparedness activities.Prepare Job Risk Assessments (JRA) and Health Risk Assessments for staff and site activities.Ensure all safety regulations and HSE policies are followed and report non-compliance to superiors for immediate action.Maintain and monitor compliance with the Permit to Work (PTW) system for hazardous activities.Conduct regular inspections of staff health and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Performs duties closely with the Food & Beverage Department on all matters relating to food hygiene and health.Ensure proper waste segregation practices are followed. Show less
