  As President of EUROAVIA Leuven, I successfully led the post-pandemic relaunch of our branch, managing a team of five board members. Under my leadership, our organisation grew to 50 active members and we organised several aerospace related events (gliding initiation, company visits, lectures, ... ). My role involved establishing both short-term and long-term goals, coordinating the team, and organising events for future aerospace engineers. This experience honed my skills in team management, strategic planning, and corporate engagement, while further fueling my passion for the aerospace sector. Being part of the European association for aerospace students also broadened my international perspective, with a highlight being my participation in the congress in Istanbul. Show less

  I completed my Master’s thesis in collaboration with KU Leuven and the Aether student team, focusing on "Surface Heat Flux Estimations for an Arbitrary 3D Re-entry Body Using Modified Newtonian Theory." This project involved creating a MATLAB tool to predict the heat flux on a vehicle re-entering Earth's atmosphere, such as Apollo and the Space Shuttle. I achieved a grade of 15.7/20.
