  I thrived in a variety of roles across my tenure. I was the Downtown Monroe Director from 2008 - 2021. I was the Director of Parks & Recreation from 2012 - 2015. I began as an Assistant City Manager in 2009. In 2021 I became the Interim City Manager, and in 2022 took on the role full-time. I directed City operations, overseeing 13 departments and optimizing resource utilization for our community of 34K+. I managed a budget of $48.5M General Fund and $137.5M Enterprise Funds, ensuring compliance. Additionally, I supervised $28M capital improvement projects.   Town Manager

  The Town Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operations of the town government, appoints and supervises employees, implements policies, and addresses priorities adopted by the Council. The Manager serves as the Clerk to Council, human resources manager, purchasing agent and FOIA Officer. The Manager represents the Town on the Harrisonburg Rockingham Regional Sewer Authority (HRRSA) and the Policy Board for the Harrisonburg Rockingham Metropolitan Planning Organization (HRMPO). The Manager is also responsible for ensuring that all laws, ordinances and resolutions of the Council are faithfully enforced. Show less
