OEMS assists in performing critical part of the Information Dissemination for USPTO and helps to generate revenues through efficient automation of Order management and administration through Order Capture, fulfillment, processing and delivery to the world-wide customers. • Managing assigned projects and activities from initiation to close-out• Collaborated between executives, business stakeholders, vendor executive teams, cross functional groups to direct solutions. • Leading migration initiatives of replacing legacy interfaces with new technology solutions as directed under Patent End-to-end (PE2E), Trademark Next Generation (TM-NG) & Fee processing Next Generation (FP-NG) modernization initiatives. • Author functional requirements, architecture documents, infrastructure specifications and presentations.• Prepare project plans, time estimation, scheduling tasks, team building, monitoring project deliverables, manage issues and report project progress, issues, and risks to the management team. • Instrumental in providing system presentations, supported system modernization (Next-generation efforts), Technologies evaluation, Enterprise Architecture (SOA), As-Is and To-Be, Business Process Analysis. • Managed and lead requirement analysis, data modeling, design, development, implementation and support of OEMS, a mission critical Enterprise order Management system of the USPTO. Legislation was enacted to minimize the delay in disclosure of technology contained in patent applications. This requires publication of each pending patent application 18 months after its effective filing date, unless it has not been filed in any foreign patent office and the applicant requests that it not be published. PGPub allows the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) to publish a patent application 18 months after the effective filing date and to provide patent area employees, the public, Intellectual property Offices (IPOs), and Trilateral Offices (TOs) access to patent application publication information. I was involved in the strategic efforts of planning, requirements analysis, Data Modeling, Technical architecture, system design and development of the PALM PgPub system on a very aggressive schedule. Instrumental in developing an enterprise solution to provide critical data from PGPUB to RTIS listing Patent applications due to be published on weekly basis, a critical part of the PTO business.
