Models for protein mistranslation and misfolding were created in yeast, cell lines and mice, to study misfolded protein aggregates. Studied the comprehensive effect of error prone protein synthesis in cell line and mice models through behavioral and total mRNA transcriptome analysis. Employed the models to study the trafficking of misfolded protein aggregates and also accumulation and deposition of amyloid beta and tau in mice brain.
