  Holding dual positions requires flexibility and a deep understanding of the intricacies of both. As the Community Outreach Manager I am constantly making new connections between The Columbus Museum and other organizations in the community. I bring an artistic presence to groups of people that might not have the opportunity to regularly experience art at their leisure (ie. Boys & Girls Club, Girl Scouts, Children on the autism spectrum, adults with Alzheimer's, etc.). Often our time together is spent exploring different mediums and artists. As the Volunteer Coordinator I spend a lot of my time meeting, training, and coordinating individuals who are interested in giving back to the community by assisting The Columbus Museum in different, varying capacities. We offer many different volunteer opportunities with each of our departments which can entail assisting with special events, tours, helping out in our Shop and more. Show less
