  The Ronja Huon (WellBoat) is a ship of 75 metres long that operates 24hrs a day 7 days a week. The Ronja Huon is primarily used to transport salmon around various salmon leases and treat them for amoebic gill disease using its 3000 Tonnes of fresh water onboard. The Ronja Huon is a leased and crewed to Huon Aquaculture by a Norwegian company called Solvtrans. On any given day millions of dollars’ worth of livestock are carefully treat or transported by this vessel and as Well-Boat Coordinator (Huon Aquacultures Client Representative) its paramount to my role that all processes and procedures are carefully followed by Solvtrans to ensure the successfully treatment and/or transportation of livestock. I am the Ronja Huon’s staff’s first point of contact with Huon Aquaculture for their needs / requirements whilst onboard and effective communication from me regarding operational requirements is paramount to the vessel running as efficient and effective as possible.
