  During a one-week mission to Canada, I represented the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics atPázmány Péter Catholic University.   In 2023, I had the opportunity to participate in the Transatlantic Security Initiative (TSI), a prestigious programorganized by the International Republican Institute (IRI). The initiative focuses on addressing the risingskepticism of Transatlantic institutions, such as NATO and the EU, in Central and Eastern Europe. The programaims to strengthen the Transatlantic Alliance by fostering deeper relationships between political leaders andenhancing their understanding of the Alliance's strategic needs for the future.As part of the TSI program, I joined a select cohort of political leaders, staffers, and think-tank representativesfrom the Visegrad Four countries—Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia—as well as Romania. We engagedin a series of workshops and study visits to critical components of NATO’s defense structure, gaining real-worldexperience on the evolving threats to democratic institutions in the 21st century.Through this program, I developed a deeper understanding of the security challenges facing the TransatlanticAlliance and acquired skills necessary to advocate for its preservation.
