      As Software/Systems Engineer II, I got the opportunity to mentor interns, lead the development of new microservices and take ownership and first-hand experience in supporting our customers. Worked as an R&D Engineer in Micro Focus alongside an agile scrum team to build a cloud-native Data Lake platform for composing Enterprise Monitoring solutions by performing Big Data analysis. We developed this platform based on a streaming-first architecture strategy capable of ingesting and processing terabytes of event-driven data. It allowed me to enhance my Java back-end development skills and gain hands-on experience with prominent open-source frameworks and technologies.
